Sam Cornell

Senior Family Support Worker, 2018

I have produced a nutrition folder using the information provided from the training.

All staff have used the folder to provide parents with the correct information and tip sheets for parents to take home.

The NHS video on weaning has been played during our baby club.”

Honey Kaur

Childminder, 2019

“Working as childminder I have found sometimes parents are not always aware of my ethos around healthy eating and all the benefits it provides not only for children but as a family as a whole. By completing the training, I have been able to restructure the way in which I emphasise this in a  professional way which also collaborates with the national nutritional guidelines. We have formulated an eye catching healthy eating board, re- evaluated our healthy eating policy and really emphasised physical play through activities and different learning experiences. The training has really helped me to value just how much children can learn at a really young age, by giving them healthy habits at the start, which will hopefully continue throughout life.”

Early Years Practitioner, 2018

“A great session that was informative and well put together.

Lots of chance to interact and the short quizzes helped to reinforce our learning. Will definitely book more training!”
