Nursery Manager Based in E7 Salary starts at £27,486.00 per annum plus PRP We are looking for a Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team of childcare professionals. You will lead and manage the team on a day-to-day basis at our Shrewsbury Road Nursery in Forest Gate, East London. You will need to be an experienced manager or deputy, who is ready to step up and take charge, to deliver safe, high quality care and early education. To ensure effective partnerships; including with parents and carers, as well as ensuring compliance with policies, legal and statutory obligations. You will not be alone in this role as you will join an established and progressive leadership team who work across our settings and the range of services provided by our sister company, Early Start Group.   • Level 3 Early Years education and childcare qualification or higher
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Ability to ensure the welfare and safety of children is the first priority of all within the setting and that any child protection and safeguarding concerns are appropriately acted upon and followed-up
  • To lead the team in planning, implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of the curriculum, taking into account the SEN code of practice, safeguarding, progression and differentiation of learning opportunities
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage, including conducting performance appraisal, reflective and management supervision
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and make accurate decisions as a member of the leadership team.

Parenting Practitioner Based in E12, working across Newham Salary starts at £27,228 per annum  Our Company works in partnership with the London Borough of Newham to deliver a range of services for parents and carers in Children’s Centres, Schools and partnership venues across the borough. Our services include accredited parenting programmes such as Triple P and so we would ideally like to recruit someone who is already trained and accredited to deliver Triple P level 1 to 4 sessions. Our services run from Monday to Friday mainly within usual business hours but with a schedule of evening groups, which you would be expected to delivery on a rota basis. We are looking for candidates with experience of experience of working with families with children aged 0 – 19 years and parents of children with SEND. We are looking for a practitioner to join our team of five parenting practitioners who is can work collaboratively as part of a team to deliver interventions, is flexible and pro-active in approach and who can deliver solution focused, strengths based services that support parenting skills and improve family life. Experience & Skills Required
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience of parenting assessment and or interventions and group work, ideally gained working with children, young people and families
  • Good IT skills
  • Knowledge and experience of safeguarding children and child development.
