Day to Day Responsibilities:
  • Work for 40 hours a week (8 hours a day)
  • Deliver and review the daily routine as part of a team
  • Plan activities, monitor and track children's progress as a team and as a key person
  • Supervise and prepare snacks and mealtimes
  • Safeguarding
Experience & Skills Required
  • CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 2 or above
  • Experience as a practitioner working with children aged 0 to 5 years
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Knowledge and ability to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage

We are a team of registered nutritionists providing support to early years practitioners and schools. We deliver a range of services to improve the health outcomes of children and their families. Our Association for Nutrition certified training and Nutrition Award provide early years practitioners with simple and practical materials to ensure they feel equipped to speak to parents and have the confidence and skills to promote health and wellbeing in their setting. Our team have an exciting opportunity for an Association for Nutrition (AfN) registered nutritionist to work alongside us delivering across a range of projects. We are looking for an individual who will ensure the roll out of our training programmes and passionate about achieving positive health outcomes for children and families. Key Responsibilities include:
  • Educate and train early years practitioners on various aspects of nutrition
  • Delivery of training to high quality standards
  • Rolling out community programmes to ensure they are meeting their targets and using appropriate Quality Assurance tools
  • Delivering a social media strategy and effective engagement programmes.

Experience & Skills Required
  • You want to work with children aged 0 to 5 years to care for them and support their health, development and learning

  • Willing to undertake training and work towards your professional development as a practitioner
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • 5 GCSE’s including a C grade or above in Maths and English
