Meet the Team - Volunteering
(Level 3 qualified Award in Education and Training and Level 3 qualified Business Administration)
I have worked in Newham with Early Start since 2005, in a number of roles including leading a Children's Centre delivering Play and Family Support services to families living in Newham with children under five.
I feel privilege to be part of the Parent Champion / Volunteer Programme seeing first hand the rewards it bring to all involved.
I’m committed to ensuring each of our volunteers are well supported and receive all the relevant training to enable them to develop.
(Level 3; Early Years Educator, Business Management, Award in Education & Training , IOSH, Prince 2 Practitioner, Certified First Aid Instructor)
I’ve 25 years experience of working in East London, as a frontline practitioner and services manager, over which time I have developed a breadth of knowledge and experience across family support, parenting, community health and Children's Centre leadership.
I’m passionate about health equality, early intervention, and forming strong partnerships to deliver services that achieve real and significant outcomes for children and families.
I lead on the delivery of our commissioned peripatetic play and communication service, volunteer scheme, and learning service providing First Aid training to all our practitioners.
