Early Education Manager

Nursery Manager Based in E12

Salary starts at £27,486.00 per annum plus PRP

We are looking for a Nursery Manager to join our friendly and dynamic team of childcare professionals. You will lead and manage the team on a day-to-day basis at our Susan Lawrence, Manor Park, East London. You will need to be an experienced manager or deputy, who is ready to step up and take charge, to deliver safe, high quality care and early education. To ensure effective partnerships; including with parents and carers, as well as ensuring compliance with policies, legal and statutory obligations. You will not be alone in this role as you will join an established and progressive leadership team who work across our settings and the range of services provided by our sister company, Early Start Group. Experience & Skills Required

  • Level 3 Early Years education and childcare qualification or higher
  • Minimum 3 years post qualification experience
  • Ability to ensure the welfare and safety of children is the first priority of all within the setting and that any child protection and safeguarding concerns are appropriately acted upon and followed-up
  • To lead the team in planning, implementation and monitoring of the effectiveness of the curriculum, taking into account the SEN code of practice, safeguarding, progression and differentiation of learning opportunities
  • Ability to effectively lead and manage, including conducting performance appraisal, reflective and management supervision
  • Good written and verbal communications skills
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and make accurate decisions as a member of the leadership team.
