It’s Sugar Awareness Week 2018 (12th-18th November) and this years theme is ‘Eating out’. More than ¼ of adults and 1/5 of children eat out at least once a week.
Did you know that children are also eating nearly 3 times the amount of sugar they should be?! They get half their sugar intake from soft drinks and food such as cakes and biscuits. To help families make healthy choices and reduce their sugar intakes, we’ve put together a handy leaflet outlining some top tips when eating out with children.
