Fees - Frequently Asked Questions

Do you offer the 30 free hours to 3/4 year olds?

Yes we do offer the enhanced entitlement. All children who attend Early Start nurseries receive the same high quality care and education and we use Tapestry to track their development on the EYFS curriculum. EE funding covers your child’s care and education for either 15 or 30 hours, and we include snacks and drinks.

Lunch and/or tea: please see the Early Start: Admissions, Charging & Invoicing Policy (PDF, 63KB) for details.

How do I pay?

Please make payment for fees by standing order, on the first day of the month. Please see the Early Start: Admissions, Charging & Invoicing Policy (PDF, 63KB) for details We work out your weekly bill, multiply it by the number of weeks i.e. 51 weeks as we shut for one week over Christmas, to give us the annual cost and divide it by 12 months so that your monthly payment is consistent throughout the year. Payment is in advance for the coming month. We also accept payment by bank transfer and accept workplace vouchers and payments via the Government Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.

How can I fund my child’s care?

Early Start Education Ltd is registered to receive payments from the Government’s Tax-Free Childcare Scheme.  For every £8.00 a parent pays into their account, the government will pay in an extra £2.00.

Parents can get up to £2,000 government support per child per year towards childcare costs.  A childcare account can be set up on the Gov.uk website. (opens in new tab)
