Room Leader (Senior Early Education Practitioner)

£18,000

If you share these values, we are looking for Room Leaders to join our dynamic team of childcare professionals. We want the best for our children, for our company and for our staff team and your role will be to assist the Setting Manager to achieve this through your commitment, skills and leadership abilities.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

  • Work for 40 hours a week (8 hours a day)
  • Lead a dedicated room to deliver a high quality of care and a positive learning environment (baby room or toddler room)
  • Plan activities, monitor and track children's progress, supporting others to do the same
  • Supervise and prepare snacks and mealtimes
  • Safeguarding
  • Team Work

Experience & Skills Required

  • CACHE / NNEB/ NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • Experience as a room leader or practitioner working with children aged 0 to 5 years
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage and/or aptitude and willingness to undertake training
  • Knowledge and ability to implement the Early Years Foundation Stage

  • All applicants will be required to complete an enhanced DBS and an annual Childcare Disqualification Disclosure

Apprentice Nursery Nurse (Early Education Practitioner)

Starting from £9,360 p/a

  • 5 GCSE’s including a C grade or above in Maths and English
