2020 CN Award for Nutrition Resource of the Year

The Early Start Nutrition team are proud to have been recognised with the 2020 CN Award for Nutrition Resource of the Year.* We received the nomination for our pioneering social media approach including on Twitter, Instagram and Facebook. The team were praised for developing accessible online nutrition resources for parents who were finding it challenging during the pandemic. Our resources helped families and professionals to have access to a range of courses, recipe ideas and lots of free advice on weaning babies, fussy eating strategies and much more.

What it means to the team

We feel honoured to receive the award which is extra special as the votes have come from the CN Magazine readers. The team work extremely hard to develop resources that have a positive impact on health and well-being and it is fantastic to receive recognition from the CN Team who continually ensure the latest evidence based nutrition information is easily accessible.  Working at the heart of communities in East London for over 20 years the priority is to ensure that all children have equal opportunities to receive ample nutrition and recognise the early years as a key time to build foundations that support children to be healthier.

We received our award at the 2020 CN Virtual Awards Ceremony (very 2020)! We look forward to continuing to provide award wining resources and keeping you up to date with the latest evidence based nutrition guidelines.
